Get started
Open the add-on
Open a Google Doc, then choose Extensions → TranslateSync AI → Open TranslateSync AI.
Approve Google access
Approve TranslateSync AI’s single Google permission screen during installation or first use.
Create the translated copy
Choose the two languages, select the current document when prompted, and start syncing.
Troubleshooting
I installed TranslateSync AI, but it is not in the Extensions menu
- Refresh the Google Docs tab.
- Confirm you are signed in with the Google account that installed the add-on.
- Open a native Google Doc rather than an Office file in compatibility mode.
- If it is still missing, uninstall and reinstall the add-on from your Marketplace apps.
The authorization window does not open or finish
- Allow pop-ups for Google Docs and TranslateSync AI.
- Complete authorization with the same Google account that is open in the document.
- Return to the sidebar and select the refresh option after authorization completes.
- If authorization was previously revoked, start the authorization flow again.
The Google file picker does not show my document
Confirm the current account owns the document or has edit access. Search for the document by its exact title, and make sure you are using the same Google account in the picker and in Google Docs. Then reload the document and try again.
Syncing is paused or changes are not appearing
- Open the TranslateSync AI sidebar and check the pair status.
- Select Resume if the pair is paused.
- If prompted, reauthorize your Google account.
- Confirm you still have edit access to both documents.
- Wait briefly and reopen the sidebar; large changes can take longer to process.
A translation or formatting result does not look right
AI translations can require human review, especially for specialized or high-stakes material. Keep the original text in place while reporting the issue. Tell us the language pair, the type of content involved, and what you expected. Please do not email confidential document text.
A simultaneous edit created a conflict
TranslateSync AI protects both versions instead of silently overwriting one. Open the pair’s conflict notice, compare the two edits, and select the version that should be kept. Syncing can then continue from the resolved version.
Manage access and your data
Your Google Docs remain in your Drive. Uninstalling TranslateSync AI or revoking access stops future syncing; it does not delete the documents you own.
- Revoke Google access: Open Google Account permissions, select TranslateSync AI, and remove access.
- Uninstall the add-on: Open your Google Workspace Marketplace apps, find TranslateSync AI, and choose Uninstall.
- Delete your TranslateSync AI account data: Email chrismparkerpro@gmail.com from the Google account you used with the service. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

- Your browser and whether you use a personal Google account or a Workspace account.
- A screenshot with names, document content, and other sensitive information removed.
For your privacy, do not send document contents, OAuth tokens, passwords, API keys, or other confidential information.
